MTS Selection
SSC MTS Selection Process
The selection criterion for SSC MTS exam is qualifying the written tests. There are 2 stages in the selection process that the candidates would have to clear – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper will be of objective type and will act as a preliminary test. Those who are able to attain the cutoff for Paper 1 will be required to appear for Paper 2.
According to the SSC MTS exam pattern, Paper 2 will be descriptive in nature and will be the final exam. All those who are able to obtain the minimum cutoff for this one will have successfully qualified the exam. It must be noted that individual cutoff marks will be decided by SSC for each state or UT. Based on the performance of the candidate in Paper 1, they will be shortlisted for the second round of Paper 2 (if and only if, both the papers are not conducted on the same day). Those who clear both the rounds will be selected for SSC MTS recruitment and their names will appear in the final SSC MTS merit list.
